My work is rooted in both professional expertise and lived experience. With a B.A. from James Madison University and years of experience serving as Director of Programs & Services at a nonprofit, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people facing mental health challenges, trauma, and substance-use recovery. But my commitment to this work didn’t start in a classroom—
it started with my own healing.
Having overcome childhood trauma and the unexpected loss of a parent, I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by emotions, stress, and life’s complexities. That personal journey pushed me to develop the tools, practices, and mindset that now empower the individuals and professionals I serve. Today, I combine evidence-based strategies with mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed approaches to help people transform how they respond to anger, pressure, and adversity.
